Teigan Blackshaw Photographic Artist

Teigan Blackshaw calls her niche Medical Expressionism and is based in Sydney NSW Australia.

"It's not so much accurate from a medical perspective however I do take the time to research and listen to what sufferers have to say." Blackshaw has said.

When Blackshaw is not behind the camera she is expanding on her paper craft medium of Quilling. An age old practice handed down in her family who always has had some form of artistry present. These works are often sold at Gametraders Macarthur Square.

 

Blackshaw has Fibromialgia so she has a very unique view on how invisible illnesses are portrayed. Blackshaw identifies as a disabled artist who likes to share the forgotten aspects of medical conditions.

 

Blackshaw is an internationally awarded artist who is working with Campbelltown Art Centre NSW Australia and previously with Front Up supported by Ability Options and Artspace Sydney to further her artistic skills. Blackshaw's works have been exhibited across Australia and Italy.
